2025 World Women's Snooker Championship--Liber Win Zhufeng

The 2025 World Women's Snooker Championship will be held from May 20th to 27th at the Changping Gymnasium in Dongguan, China. 74 players from 11 countries and regions will compete on the same stage. Bai Yulu, who is playing at home, will return to the court and strive to defend this title, joining the ranks of the elite who have won the championship multiple times.

Historic moment and the return of the event

Last year, China hosted this top-level event for the first time, making history. Bai Yulu led a thrilling final with a 6-5 victory over Thai player Wan Harutut, becoming the first Chinese player to lift the Mandy Fisher Trophy. The huge success of the event prompted the World Women's Snooker Tour (WWST) to collaborate again with the Chinese Billiards Association, bringing this event back to Dongguan once more. 

Professional qualification incentives

The champion of this event will be awarded two years of professional qualification by the World Snooker Tour (WST). If the champion already holds a professional qualification, this slot will be granted to the female player with the highest world ranking who has not yet obtained the qualification after the event.

The scale of participation has reached an all-time high.

The number of participants in this event has reached a new high in this century. The 74-person competition lineup includes athletes from New Zealand, Mongolia, India, China, Singapore, Hong Kong of China, Germany, Australia, Japan, Thailand and England. Eight of the top nine players in the world have confirmed their participation. The group draw will be conducted before the event. The competition adopts a system of group rounds followed by elimination rounds. At the same time, the U21 and veteran championships will also be held.
